what sets
us apart
We want the local church to have the authority over its college ministry. We recognize God is using his church to change the world, so we want the church to impact the campus to reach the world. When someone joins the Campus Movement Network or another Campus Movement is planted at a church, that local church will have the ultimate authority over its staff and ministry. Campus Movement will still have a president, vice president, and board of directors that will be in charge of making any administrative decisions for the organization as a whole. The board will be in charge of the macro structures, events, resources, and expansion. They will make decisions for the CAMO Network as a whole when it seems necessary. However, each Campus Movement ministry or any college ministry a part of the network will be governed by the local church that they are a part of.

training
Most churches fail at college ministry not for a lack of zeal or passion, but for a lack of competence. Reaching college students with the gospel takes a great deal of time and strategy. We have a lot of strategic experience building college ministries and have skills and tools we can offer churches on how to build self-sustaining, multiplying college ministries that will help change the world. This doesn’t happen inside the church walls, but through “on the ground” evangelism and discipleship on the campus.
SUPPORT RAISING TRAINING
Building a college ministry takes FOCUS and a TEAM. Many churches struggle because there is not a concentrated effort to build. Churches need full-time staff whose sole responsibility is to evangelize and disciple students on the campus. Because most churches cannot afford this, we provide the training for staff to raise financial support to cover their salary and all ministry costs.
RESOURCES & MATERIALS
For the last decade our network has been creating resources directly catered to ministering to college students. We want to alleviate the time and effort it takes to create these kinds of resources by providing them for you. Our resources include materials for evangelism, discipleship, administrative planning, staff development, and much more.
COMBINED EVENT OPPORTUNITIES
There is strength in numbers. Being a part of a network provides the ability to bring your students to conferences and retreats with other like-minded ministries. These big events create a momentous and gospel-centered atmosphere that will cause tremendous growth in the lives of your students. There is also a huge advantage to being able to bring the students in your ministry to events that you did not have to plan.
SUPPORT & MENTORSHIP
It’s important for your ministry staff to receive support and advice from people who have been in the same situations and circumstances. Our staff have been doing college ministry for several years and can speak from personal experience. There will be times when you will not know what to do next to move your ministry forward or are unsure how to handle a certain on-campus situation. We are here to help you navigate those difficult situations. We will also provide in-person and virtual staff development and training to continue to bolster the preparedness of your ministry staff.
Every church is different, and every ministry is different. We want to meet the needs of each church and college ministry, so we have developed two main partnership options.
